         <description><![CDATA[<div>Desde 2017 apoyamos a personas trans para lograr su identidad legal.<br>Brindamos y gestionamos asistencia médica, legal, psicológica para personas LGBTTTIQ+; personas con VIH y personas migrantes y refugiadas.<br>Desde hace 20 años brindamos servicios de consejería, educación sexual, aplicación de pruebas rápidas de VIH e ITS.<br>Hemos logrado amparos legales para matrimonio igualitario, reasignación sexogenérica, matrimonios serodiscordantes (prohibidos en algunos estados), protección de datos de personas fallecidas por afecciones relacionadas al sida, e incidencia en diferentes instancias gubernamentales.<br><br><strong>[ENG]</strong><br>Since 2017 we've been providing support for trans people to achieve their legal identity. We provide and manage medical, legal and psychological assistance for LGBTTTIQ + people; people with HIV and immigrants and refugees.&nbsp;<br>or 20 years, we have been providing counseling services, sex education, and conducting rapid HIV and STD tests.</div><div>We have achieved legal around&nbsp; marriage equality, gender reassignment, serodiscordant marriages (prohibited in some states), privacy protection for people who have died of AIDS-related illnesses, and advocacy in different government entities.</div>]]></description>

As the first LGBTIQ+ organization in El Salvador, we have been key actors in critical moments for our LGBTIQ+ community. We conduct social research and provide food assistance during the pandemic.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nuestros Logros: somos Fundadores de Organizaciones como COMCAVIS TRANS, y hemos formado a Directores y Activistas que en la actualidad forman parte de otras organizaciones LGBTIQ+ en El Salvador, de nuestros principales logros esta haber realizado mas de 57 Mil pruebas de VIH, identificado nuevos diagnósticos y vinculación de mas de 300 personas LGBTIQ+ a los Servicios Nacionales de Salud, Organizamos mas de 12 Marchas del Orgullo LGBTIQ+ desde 1997. Formamos Parte de El Mecanismo Coordinador de Pais para los Proyectos del Fondo Mundial.<br><br><strong>[ENG]</strong><br>Our achievements: we are founders of organizations such as COMCAVIS TRANS and we have trained directors and activists who are currently part of other LGBTIQ+ organizations in El Salvador. Our main achievements include having conducted more than 57 thousand HIV tests, having identified new tests, and having connected more than 300 LGBTIQ+ members to national health services. We have also organized over 12 LGBTIQ+ pride marches since 1997. We are part of the Country Coordinating Mechanism for Global Fund projects.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>&nbsp;Somos una Asociación No Gubernamental, que trabaja por reivindicar, defender y promover los Derechos Humanos de las personas LGBTI+ en El Salvador, desde un enfoque Interseccional que permite la inclusión de otros grupos<br><br>Durante nuestros 13 años hemos trabajado en promover la Igualdad, Equidad, Libertad y Justicia de las personas, lesbianas, gay, bisexuales, trans e intersexuales (LGBTI) a nivel nacional e internacional para el reconocimiento y cumplimiento de sus derechos humanos y su desarrollo en una sociedad diversa, segura y justa.<br><br>COMCAVIS TRANS, actualmente esta liderando acciones de incidencia y abogacía en conjunto a otras organizaciones de la sociedad civil&nbsp; para el reconocimiento y protección de los derechos de mujeres LBTI; y se pretende continuar logrando cambios significativos en políticas y leyes que protejan y promuevan los derechos de las mujeres, e incidir en la aprobación de una ley de identidad de genero para las personas trans y la aprobación de una ley de no discriminación. y continuar en la lucha por la aplicación de la reforma al código penal&nbsp; para que se judiacializen&nbsp; los crimines de odio. <br><br><strong>[ENG]<br><br></strong>We are a non-governmental association that works to vindicate, defend, and promote the human rights of LGBTI+ people in El Salvador through an intersectional approach that allows the inclusion of other groups.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>For 13 years, we have worked to promote the equality, equity, freedom, and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex (LGBTI) people at a national and international level. The goal is to achieve the recognition and fulfillment of their human rights and their development in a diverse, safe, and fair society.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>COMCAVIS TRANS currently leads advocacy actions with other civil society organizations to recognize and protect the rights of LBTI women. The goal is to continue achieving significant changes in policies and laws that protect and promote women’s rights; to impact the approval of a gender identity law for trans people; and the approval of a non-discrimination law. Finally, we intend to continue fighting to reform the criminal code to prosecute hate crimes.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
