I believed I encountered both traditional and authentic assessment but I would say, I have maximized my skills and talents in utilizing performance assessment under Authentic whereas, my memorization skills was enhanced through traditional. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed both of it because it is more diverse in a way that I could utilize my strength and make a difference for my weaknesses. As a student I'm oftenly subjected to Performance assessment , I'm happy about it because I was able to do it myself and all the memories I got while doing it. As a future teacher I will do the same thing as my teachers did because for me if you do something it would really retain in you just like the lessons I got when I was high school that up to this time is still vivid in my memory because It was a performance based.

As a student, I have been subjected to both traditional and authentic assessments, such as quizzes, exams, projects, and class presentations. In terms of my satisfaction level, I can say that sometimes I was not entirely happy with my performance in class presentations (reporting). Although I did my best in preparing for it, there were always a few areas where I struggled such as stage fright wherein even i was in a 3rd year in my teacher education course.

As a future teacher, I would approach my assessment experiences differently. I would emphasize a balanced assessment approach that includes formative assessments such as quizzes and class presentations. This would provide students with frequent feedback and an opportunity to demonstrate their learning.

As I experienced in my past years as a student, I've been more subjected in performance type assessment. Some of the task for me is quite hard so I find myself not happy about it, but if the task is where I am good and what I like to, that's the time that I would be happy about it, but most of the time, I am happy with all the task that my teachers are giving to me, because I know that in the future, it will benefit me as a student. For me, I will improve them more with that kind of assessment because at the end of the day, we are now living in the 21st era, the students are more capable now in doing it in the real world situation.

For me is a type of assessment which i learn and experience more is that the Performance Assessment because it is an evaluation of student’s work, wherein you can see if your student’s performance by giving them a real life task. Authentic Assessment is far greater and effective in terms of the development of different skills. I am indeed happy about it, because unlike the traditional assessment it's more interactive and is focused on developing, enhancing, and molding the skills and abilities of a student. Not only that but through it, students can also gain new skills that can better prepare them in coping up with real-world situations. Growing up I was exposed to traditional assessment and authentic assessment but the type of assessment that I have been impacted my life as a student is Authentic assessment or more on hands on assessment because for me, my type of learning is through experience and I believe that experience is the best teacher. The type of assessment that I have experienced before that I like the most is that when my science teacher ask and let her student do an experiment and and observe on it. Just like viewing specimen under the microscope specifically a lice. Where there I can view and see the parts of the insect and also to practice in actual how to manipulate and use the microscope. In the past year of my educational journey, I have been exposed more to traditional assessment, which is pen and paper, because of our old curriculum, but as I have taken up my senior high school years, I have been more exposed to authentic assessment, where there are different performance tasks given to us by our teachers and also an integration of subjects where there is only one performance task given to us and all the subjects are there. With this experience of mine, if I were to choose, I would gladly choose authentic assessment where performance-based assessment is linked. This assessment will not just help the students master the contents but also the skills that they can use in real-world life or situations. Also, this assessment will aid the diverse learning styles and intelligence of students because we can give them different performance tasks that are suited to their level and interests.
