My name is King James I and I was the first Puritan King after the Great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first English King to translate the Bible into English and we called it the "King James Bible". I was honored to be a part of the founding of Jamestown; a prominent settlement in the newly acquired lands of America.

My name is King Charles I and I also believed in the divine right of kings. Me having my beliefs led to the continuation of the struggles with Parliament over taxation, religion, and governance. This conflict led to the English Civil War in 1642 which also led to the defeat of James and his execution for treason against his country.

Oliver Cromwell ( 1649 - 1658)

My name is King Oliver Cromwell I was crowned as King in 1649 and passed away in 1658. I was originally a military leader during the English Civil War until I was crowned the Lord Protector after the success in the Civil War where I ruled until my death. While I was in control I changed the government of England by abolishing the monarchy and establishing the Commonwealth and let the conquest of Ireland and Scotland.

My name is King Charles II and I was crowned King in 1658 - 1685. During the Cromwell rule when Cromwell was still in control, I was exiled to France due to me being posed as a threat to the throne as Charles I's son. Once Oliver Cromwell passed I returned to England and restored the Monarchy which was known as the restoration.

My name is James II and I was crowned in 1685 and I was the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. Due to me being another Catholic King I faced many challenges with religion. Due to these challenges with religion led to the beginning of the Glorious Revolution of England which then I was overthrown peacefully but I was able to solidify constitution monarchy and lay the foundation for the Bill of Rights which limited the powers of the monarch.

Mary II (1688 - 1702)

My name is Mary II and I am the daughter of King James II. I married my first cousin William of Orange who was a Protestant Dutch Prince. Once the Parliament completed the overthrow of King James II Me and William were asked to rule jointly as a Protestant alternative which began the Constitutional Monarchy in England.
