The one form of observational learning is imitative learning, from behaviors like antisocial and pro social behaviors. First off, antisocial behaviors are behaviors promoting violence and exclusiveness. Pro social behaviors are behaviors that promote inclusiveness and positive relationships. Imitative learning is learning by observation and the copying those behaviors. Albert Bandura hypothesized that people are observational learners.

The Theory of Universal Grammar states that all languages have a similar grammatical structure. Since there is shared structure between languages it makes it easier to learn a second language, opposed to trying to learn a whole new grammar system. However, the ideal time to learn a new language is between ages three and ten.
