My heritage / country is Spain.

Manuel was my Great Grandfather who was called to go to war. He came to the U.S. and went to war. Me and my Grandfather didn't k now each other at the time because he died fighting during world war II. Except, I do learn about him from his wife, my Great Grandmother.

My great grandfather Manuel, cam to the United States because he received a call asking him to serve in the war for the U.S.. He also wanted to leave Spain because of his financial issues and came to the U.S. to make a better living

Mi bisabuelo era de España y vino a los Estados Unidos debido a problemas financieros y porque fue llamado a la guerra de los Estados Unidos. Yo y mi bisabuelo no nos conocíamos en ese momento porque murió mientras luchaba en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, pero sí sé cómo era su esposa, mi bisabuelo. (My great Grandfather was from Spain and came to the U.S. because of financial issues and because he was called in for war from the United States. Something new that I learned about my heritage is how in Spain they let the bulls run loose throughout some parts of the country.

One of my favorite national holidays in Spain is the Running of the Bulls. The running of the bulls is held during the eight-day festival of Sanfermines in honor of Saint Fermin in Pamplona, although they are also traditionally held in other places such as towns and villages across Spain, Portugal, in some cities in Mexico, and southern France during the summer.

After Manuel came to the United States he fought in WWII and died while fighting. His wife, my great grandma, came to the U.S. after he died and brought my mom's family with her and there they made their new life.

America has adopted a little bit of peace from the destruction that World War II has caused. My family also adopted peace since Manuel died fighting World War II.

One National Monument from Spain is The Castle of the La Mota or Castillo de La Mota is a medieval fortress, located in the town of Medina del Campo, province of Valladolid, Spain. It is so named because of its location on an elevated hill, a mota (in Spanish), from where it dominates the town and surrounding land. The adjacent town came to be surrounded by an expanding series of walls in subsequent years, of which little remains.

Mariano Rajoy, the current leader of Spain, was elected to be leader because "the Zapatero administration were mainly focused on what he perceived as. Rajoy received the support of Germany's Angela Merkel and France's Nicolas Sarkozy for the March 2008 general election. The PP was defeated in the general election, however, and Rajoy continued to lead his party in opposition. Close to 5 million people were out of work at the time of the election." And later became the current leader of Spain.
