Perhaps it is time to stop Zonal Sports Council meetings now that NSGs are being organised nationally from the get-go. We can have individual sport meeting where relevant and necessary.

Organisational work wise, zone does not come into play as we are all crossing all over the island when playing games or straight to nationals.

With the changes to JDR & SDR and direct national tournaments , the zonal council is irrelevant now. Report no longer shared this platform. Besides, there's cluster support group for PE which can be the alternative platform for discussion n dissemination of NSG matters

For distribution of information, there is no required for Zone. Zone Council will be useful to handle "protest", FAQ, special arrangementthat school can engage in a more effective ways.

It's still relevant as we still have to select zone convenors for each sport . But maybe 2 meetings 1 at the end and 1 at the start . The rest of meetings will be with the lead convenor of the sports . There's another relevant point to have the zone meeting , which is for us in West zone to get updates of all the NSGs thru the zone convenor reports . Boon Tiong -Zhenghua Pri

Zone Council meeting is a total repeat of MC meeting, it's a waste of time to repeat the agenda.

In the past without zoom we had to split meeting for ease of organizing. Now we can combine MC with Zone via zoom.

Let Zone meeting be real networking session.
