Ivan is feeling scared about being moved to the zoo, and is nervous to go anywhere other than the mall (the last time he moved he lost his sister) and the mall has been his 'home'.
Bob is sad that Ivan is leaving because he would normally sleep on Ivan's belly, and now he won't get to sleep with or see him anymore. Mack is sad because Ivan was the closest thing to a son Mack had. Mack helped raise Ivan and has been with him for a long time.
