I prepare by studying for tests. For a samurai, they prepare by meditating before a war. I do not think I would be suited to be a samurai. I'm not very strong or confident enough to become one. There was a lot of pressure on samurais as they understood if they got captured they would be dishonoring the Bushido Code. I know how badly they didn't want to dishonor because of the quote " Rather than fall into enemy hands, samurai commonly committed suicide " ( Document D ). This video also reveals how violent and brutal the wars were and how slim the chances of survival were.
