All the great things in the world start with a leap of faith. Goals that one hopes to achieve, things that one wants to make happen... all start with the simple act of faith in himself or the people around him in the grand design of things.
This is the belief that is the key factor in every big story. Every big invention, every great discovery, every big achievement is found on this belief. No man is an island, you may need to weather storms, so sometimes it may be a team work..you may need people to fall back on, to boost you, to give you morale, like it happens in every team, but in the end you will achieve what you set out to achieve. We see it happen here, in this world/neighborhood/clg campus/company everyday.The great movement of the twenty first century is feminism. Equal rights for all, patriarchy, giving women opportunities and respect are concepts that we are now familiar with. Every one of us is trying to lay a brick in this big wall of feminism, to the best of our capabilities in order to achieve what has been denied to women kind for so long. Seems almost silly that in the centuries prior this one, it also started as an act of faith..a belief.

ਨਹੀਂ! ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਮੀਕਾਹ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ: “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”—ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:7. ਮੀਕਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਸੀ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਦਿਆਂ-ਪੜਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਿਭਾਏ ਸਨ। (ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:20) ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰੇਗਾ। “ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ” ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ, ਮੀਕਾਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਸੀ। (ਮੀਕਾਹ 7:15) ਛੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਕਿਸ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ? ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਇਆ: “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਭਈ ਏਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ। ਓਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਏ। ਓਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ।”—ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ 23:14. ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡ-ਵਡੇਰੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਹ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ 400 ਸਾਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਝੱਲੇਗੀ, ਪਰ “ਚੌਥੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ” ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਕਨਾਨ ਫੇਰ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ।—ਉਤਪਤ 15:5-16; ਕੂਚ 3:6-8. ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਚਾਰ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।* ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਗਲੇ 40 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਲੜਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿਚ 40 ਸਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਇਆ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਰਤਾਅ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਏ।”—ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ 21:45. ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖੋ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ? ਉਸੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜਾਣਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਲਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਉੱਨਾ ਹੀ ਵਧੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੌਰ ਕਰਨਾ। ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ। ਮਿਸਾਲ ਲਈ, ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸੈੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਅਰਬਾਂ ਸੈੱਲ ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਿਯਮ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ, ਪੂਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਭੌਤਿਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਊਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਟ੍ਰੋਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੋਸੇਮੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ।—ਜ਼ਬੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 139:14-16; ਯਸਾਯਾਹ 40:26; ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 3:4. ਮੀਕਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਨਬੀ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਰੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਚੱਕਰ ਦੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਦਾ]]> 2018-06-06 05:43:04 UTC https://padlet.com/karam9113toor/l2g9jt393k5c/wish/265795974 https://padlet.com/karam9113toor/l2g9jt393k5c/wish/265796106 ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿੱਖੋ -ਰਾਬਰਟ ਕਲੀਮੈਂਟਸ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ‘ਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬਿੰਦੂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਕਾਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਜਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਮਕਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਚਾਬੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਾਪਸ ਉਦੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮਕਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਚਾਬੀ ਮੰਗੀ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਦੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਸ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਮਕਾਨ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੋ-ਟੁਕ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਂਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਭਾਵ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ। ਅਜੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਰਾਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਕਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਪੈਸੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ‘‘ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਬੌਬ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ, ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਮੁੜ ਬਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਕੰਪਨੀ ‘ਚ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ਦਾਰ ਸਨ। ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਬੋਰਡ ‘ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਚੇਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ‘ਵੀਰਵਾਰ 11 ਤੋਂ 12 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਉਸ ਦਫਤਰ ‘ਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਮੁਆਫ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।’ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਜ਼ਦਾਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਫਤਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਖਰ 11.45 ਵਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ ਤੇ ਦਫਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ‘‘ਤੰੂ ਇਥੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ?” ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ‘‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਮੁਆਫ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ 11 ਤੋਂ 12 ਵਜੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ।” ‘‘…ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਾਅਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?” ‘‘ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ।” ‘‘…ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੈ?” ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ‘‘ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਰੀਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ।” ਉਸ ਅਮੀਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਚੀ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ‘‘ਦੇਣਦਾਰੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਚੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਗਲਾ ਭਰ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਭਿੱਜੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ‘‘ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂ ੰਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਹੈ।” ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘‘ਰੁਕ, ਅਜੇ 12 ਨਹੀਂ ਵੱਜੇ। ਬਾਕੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਮੇਰੀ ਉਦਾਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਬੂਤ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।” ਜਦੋਂ ਘੜੀ ‘ਤੇ 12 ਵੱਜੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਪਰਚੀ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜਿਆ। ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਪਾਗਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਦਫਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਪਏ, ਪਰ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੇਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ। ਦਫਤਰ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਬੰਦ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ। ਭਰੋਸੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਦੋਸਤ/ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੱਥ ਧੋ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਵਿਆਹੁਤਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਖੇਰੂੰ ਖੇਰੂੰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬੁਰੇ ਭਲੇ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।]]> 2018-06-06 05:45:14 UTC https://padlet.com/karam9113toor/l2g9jt393k5c/wish/265796106 Believe in yourself https://padlet.com/karam9113toor/l2g9jt393k5c/wish/265807030 Most of the time we blame others for not trusting in us or not supporting us. They can be your parents, relatives, and sometimes friends too. When you say, I want to participate in music show or I want to be an actor or an athlete for that matter; they say you can’t do it. When somebody wants to do something out of the league people around them try to demotivate them. Why do they do it? what’s there motive behind it? What I will say is, that’s not important. You should believe in yourself first.

Let me start by saying this “If you don’t believe in yourself why anybody else going to believe in you?“. It’s as simple as that. You may ask why and how I will trust myself and my abilities? Right?

Let me tell you that, every human brain is same. The only different thing between us is how we use our brain, how dedicated are you towards your goals; and that makes the difference. If you are demoralising yourself then everybody around you is going to do the same. So rather than blaming others to draw you back, you must take it on yourself. You must prove yourself that you are not a penny less than anybody else. The day you will get that feeling you will start to believe in yourself.

However, lately it occurred to me that politics is no more than an inquisitiveness in my opinion, and it has transformed into a lost interest. I am lucky enough to live in a country where democracy prevails and where women can vote, which is still not the case in many places. When I was about fifteen years old, as the 2012 French presidential election approached, I developed an interest in politics. Somehow, I found a party that seemed to echo my beliefs. A certain weariness emerged after watching myriads of debates between leaders of different parties, whose cleavages seemed to depend more on their egos at times than on their political stance. More so, recent events, including the Brexit referendum, have been bewildering. As a non-British citizen, yet a proud European, I have been impassioned, much to my surprise, to learn the results of the long-awaited referendum. It turned out, in my case, to be an absolute wake-up call as regards to politics in general. To my eighteen-year-old self, today, politics doesn’t hold meaning anymore. Over the years, in numerous countries, politics has merely become an area of studies, eventually leading to a well-paid career. Politics concerns elections, terms and high wages and seems to have lost its essence. Indeed, nowadays young people struggle to find a party which echoes rightfully their ideas. It is not that people don’t believe in politics anymore, or in the power of democracy. The problem may lie in the fact that they have to vote for elderly representatives whose party still stands for hundred-year-old views. This phenomenon has resulted in an increasing abstention rate during elections. In fact, in the 2015 general election not more than 50 per cent of 18-to-34-year-old British citizens voted, among which only 40 per cent voted from the 18-24 category, according to a poll made by the Intergenerational Foundation (IF). To speak for myself, I do not believe that you can do politics today by taking a dualist viewpoint, or by questioning progress. I do not believe that politics should be about banning marriage for same-sex couples, refusing them a fundamental right. It shouldn’t be about counting refugees either, as if they were only figures, and refusing to let them enter a country because of prejudices. Today’s politics has engendered noxious catchphrases such as Farage’s ‘… take our country back’, echoing war-time mentality when nations fought for lands. Generation Y does not focus anymore on whether some should not have the right to marry and others be forbidden from crossing a border. It has in fact proved to be the most accepting generation. Does this mean then that politics has lost its efficiency and become a dead issue? Not quite yet. As a matter of fact, generations to come will have different issues to solve, among which are climate change and unemployment; politics will have a say in these matters. 2016 has been a turning point for many countries which have seen their parties infected with xenophobia and regressive thinking. There is a crisis in the way that politics works today. Our society is facing issues that cannot be tackled the same way they would’ve been in the 1980s. We should not take into consideration politicians that are keen on fulfilling their own agendas. They are harmful for politics. Indeed, we need change, we need a new system and we need to work together. I believe in being a leader, doing what you feel is right in your heart no matter what anyone else thinks. Don’t you hate it when someone asks you to do something you know isn’t right and you say no and because of that you are un-cool? Yet after it is all said and done they are the ones in trouble. The leader may not always be cool, but they are always a leader.


You need to do what is right and never let anyone dictate to you what it is you do. You have to make decisions that are best for you no matter what the cost. People may be mad, not agree with you or think you are un-cool. That’s when you have to ask yourself what is more important doing what you know is right or going against your better judgment to fit in? Who cares about being cool? Be a leader and you may not always be right, but it is better then following the crowd.


I started to believe in being a leader for many reasons. The first being my father always said to me “be a leader not a follower”, after awhile the idea just sticks. Another reason would be the fact that I got asked so many times to do stupid things and had to be smart enough to refuse, all the temptations that a teenager my age faces. It isn’t easy to refuse them, but you have to if you want to avoid a problem later.

Early in my career I learned that the best way to manage a classroom was to inspire students rather than provoke fear. Fear created anxiety, doubt, and confrontation. When inspired, students anticipated class. They were eager participants. They enjoyed the learning process. They performed better.

Much of what I see in education now is wrong. Students are tested more. Teachers are developed less and evaluated more punitively. The arts, electives, and other programs are getting cut. It is creating the very climate that I know does not work. There is too much punishing and not enough inspiring. There is too much fear and not enough celebration.

It is easy to get frustrated. It is easy to believe that things are getting worse.

But there is also room for hope.

It takes courage to believe that things are getting better, and they are. I believe that teachers are doing remarkable work from the ground up, not the top down. The more I connect with teachers from across the country on Twitter, Voxer, and Edutopia, the more I realize that we are succeeding in spite of what’s going on, not because of it.

Why do I believe so strongly in the future of teachers? We are succeeding on our own terms in our own way.

Here are three reasons why I have faith in the profession:

1. We Are Steering Our Own PD

Pick any social media channel and you will find teachers sharing ideas, offering support, and building professional communities. Teaching Twitter chats dominate what's trending each night. Pinterest has images from classroom decorations to lesson plan templates and everything inbetween. New Facebook groups are popping up each day. What's the commonality? Teachers are developing themselves long after the school bell rings. And just when you think the teacher work week has ended, there we are Saturday mornings, at EdCamps, developing ourselves some more.

2. We Are Participating in Policy

It is no longer just unions advocating on behalf of teachers. The National Network of State Teachers of the Year is one organization that is getting in front of policy makers and ensuring that teacher voices are heard. It is advocating for policies that create "the kind of profession that attracts, develops, retains, leverages and advances top talent, particularly through teacher leadership." Led by Katherine Bassett, herself a former state teacher of the year in New Jersey, the network is working to improve "the conditions, capacity and culture necessary to support great teaching and learning."

3. We Are Innovating

Despite the push for scripted lessons and regimented learning, teachers are pushing back with more creative learning environments. We are experimenting with new technologies and are using student-centered approaches like the flipped classroom, genius hour, and project-based learning. We are developing new ways to bring excitement back to the classroom, proving that we teaching to the test is a poor instructional strategy.
