         <description><![CDATA[<div>I need to know more about the workshops I haven’t led and how the new workshop materials work in reality. Learning from fellow WSL experiences will be invaluable!</div><div>Agency is such as important part of the enhanced PYP and I would like to know further ways to facilitate this through workshops that enable participants to readily  adopt, adapt and apply learner agency to their context.</div><div>Continual reflection will be key to ensuring workshop delivery, content and experiences are connected to the changes. Making full use of reflective threads is a great way to keep track of the thinking process throughout so being able to identify what is needed and how to plan for this will be a new way to work within the workshop. I think I’ll give this a try with the students I teach to get a feel for how it can work so I know how to facilitate this reflective approach. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So much excites me about the enhancements! The PYP programme is so dynamic and flexible and these new developments take it to another level.</div><div>Learner Agency is a part huge my excitement! Ensuring agency is at the heart of the workshop structure and enabling PYP educators to develop this further within schools is a bonus, enabling everyone to flourish in their learning.</div><div>New PYP materials to support learning and teaching will be invaluable and guide educators to ensure schools become learning environments which are collaborative communities working to meet the needs of independent, responsive learners. </div><div>Use of personas in workshops adds a new element to support teacher connections and meaningful experiences.</div><div>Workshop planning and resource materials is timely to enables greater consistency within the IB community while also ensuring WSL have necessary direction and guidance.</div><div>Raising reflection to be a major emphasis is so exciting! By being ongoing and a key element to every part of the PYP philosophy it builds insightfulness, promotes collaboration, challenges us and makes change a more natural process. </div>]]></description>

         <title>S - Steps moving forward</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I need to apply the enhancements to my own context and see them working in practice. By actioning and applying these in the reality of teaching and through collaboration with colleagues I can further extend my understanding and continue to explore the possibilities for building best practice. By continuing to engage with documentation and reference material as well as networking with PYP educators, local (within my own foundation) and global through MyIB I can continue to familiarise myself with the enhancements.</div><div>Having time to internalise the new PS&amp;P will help get myself in the right ‘head-space’ so I can make the necessary connections, be more informed and then support other PYP practitioners.</div><div> </div>]]></description>

         <title>W - Worried about</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It will take time for PYP educators to learn to work with the changes of the enhanced PYP. I worry that in workshops participants may easily revert to what is familiar, taking time to adapt to these changes and see them in practical terms. Of course, this will depend on different variables for example, how much work they have already done with learner agency within their school setting. Will I be able to support them as needed? I know I will reference resource materials through ‘Principles into Practice’, teacher capabilities etc. Change takes time and we know it can be facilitated through collaboration and an openness to new experiences. Educators love practical examples of ways it will work so they can connect to their particular context so staying in contact with other WSL to gather different approaches through MyIB and IBEN Connect along with keeping up-to-date on developments within the PYP network will be vital. I will work hard to build capacity for the enhancements in my workshop participants. </div>]]></description>
