I disagree that rich people are arrogant.

We will become divided and the people from the upper class and lower class will be drifted apart.

Lets be acceptable towards people of different backgrounds and walks of life. This leads to a more inclusive and a more cohesive society.

I agree that people from the high class would feel a stronger sense of identity compared to the lower class. This may be because they have the multiple resources and time to explore local culture. On the other hand, those from the lower class may lack such resources/time and do not have enough to explore their own identity.

However, I disagree that people from the high class plan ahead.

This will interrupt social cohesion between Singaporeans. For example, when applying for jobs, businesses would not likely take in people from the lower class as they may have a stereotypical view of them being 'lazy' and 'unserious', unlike a stereotypical view of the higher class being 'smarter' and more 'well to do'. This may cause a decline in the workforce and economy due to the lack of workers.

We should look into a persons character instead of a persons background. For example, a person who may be from a lower class may have poor education, but they still strive to work hard to provide for themselves/families. This displays strong values of a person, defying the lower class' stereotypical perceptions.

I agree with the people who said that the upper class feel more connected to Singapore compared to the lower class.
The people of both classes will drift apart and Singapore will not be very united.
We can focus more on someone's character instead of their background

We agree that there may be a wealth gap amongst those in Singapore's society.

if everyone were to have the same biased perceptions towarss people from upperclassa nd lower class, there may lead to a divide between the different classes while the middle classes may be caught in the crossfire.

we may be able to bridge the perceptions of people that arise from the social class difference through education as schools can educate kids from young on the perceptions of the classes and in turn children may be able to influence their parents on their perceptions of the difference in classes.

I agree that social mobility is relatively high in Singapore, but disagree that it's entirely equal for everyone due to ongoing structural barriers.

Uniform biases could deepen social divides and reinforce negative stereotypes, making it harder to address and solve inequality issues.

I agree that most people who are part of the higher classes would feel that they are atleast better than some of the 'lower classes' although this is not true most of the time, however its the majority that is like this and shaped the stereotype.

If everyone holds the same opinion, many would not be able to come to certain agreements and would cause more problems

We could let them see the bigger picture as how this divide could cause the bond and relations of everyone to degrade and gets worse
