         <description><![CDATA[<div>Flipping the triangle and starting with some sort of phenomenon or problem just seems like a great way to motivate and encourage student learning.&nbsp; I loved Mina's suggestion of starting with our dream for what our classroom could look like, identifying the reality, and then work at moving towards that dream.&nbsp; An example of applying Problem-Based learning to our own teaching world, I suppose.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I'm not sure I totally agree with Cher.  At least a few open-ended versions focus on trying to engage students by seeing how it relates to their lives.  And designing a garden is very different than just 'calculate how many plants will grow' in a meaningless question.  But I do see how they aren't all radically different.</div>]]></description>
