It felt like a community, family, because most of students went to the same elementary schools and middle schools as well. We also had constant talks about injustice and bullies, and how to combat against those. Because of my experiences, it has made me a more understanding person, and with a passion against injustice against any person or in a system. Not only does state culture vary but the different parts of cities are all unique. Everytime i left a school it made me realize how lucky i was to attend it

I use to be very secluded and i kept to myself, i still sort of am but I've gotten a lot better, but high school really helped me to get out there and experienced a lot of new things and get to meet a lot of great new people i would have never have talked to if it weren't for all the things high school did for me

I went to one of the top academic schools in the state so the standards were very high. Playing sports that demanded much of my time made this even more difficult.
