| Part I – Essay
| Generally, the Eastern culture important to the relationship between subordinates and superiors, contrastively, the Western culture set great store by work in an atmosphere of freedom. This essay description the main cause is different class style. They will be looked at in terms of education characteristics, differences in class, the school, teachers, and the bearer of responsibility for failure. It is the last of these factors that is the greatest dissimilarity between East and West. These two regions illustrate main thing is method of teaching in the class. For Eastern education, almost all classes feature a lecture format in order for students to cover substantial amounts of information. Whereas, in Western education, there is an environment where all students can share their opinions freely. As an example of this, it was reported in the Chinese media, that when Obama visited Korea, he gave Korean reporters time to ask questions, but none were asked. In the opinion of the columnist, “Students in the United States and Korea were different. Dialogue on equal footing between equal and students was not something to which people in Korea were accustomed” (Choi, 2014). To summarize, western education focuses more on discussions, debate and the quality of class. In comparison it is difficult to ask questions in the Eastern classroom, and they focus on quantity. There is a difference in the roles of the school and the teachers. In the East the school does not perform any major duties; they are just there to take care of issues. Whereas, in the West, the school makes an attempt to proactively solve students’ problems regarding their personal lives. While the teacher is an educator, Western teachers also perform the role of an assistant, so that if some students have problems, they give assistance (Immer Qi, 2016). Lastly, in Eastern education, school and teacher put pressure on students to succeed (Chuah, 2010). To sum things up, teachers and schools have very different roles when comparing both methods of education. In the west, they help students solve various problems. All people attempt difficult challenges while living their lives, and as a result, there are some that find great success. However, that cannot always be the case. In practice, students experience failure. In this case, Western education says that it is natural to experience failure and that it is very necessary to do so, and to not be afraid of challenges, also the view of the West that subpar support by society, school, and teachers of the student may be crucial factors. Then, so that the student if able to make further attempts, they help to create a positive environment, and give emotional support and motivation. Universities and their lecturers should assist students in finding their own motivation (Cherif et al, 2014). Eastern education says that the failure of all students is not their responsibility, and more a reflection of a lack of effort on the part of the students. Furthermore, Korean students feel a lot of pressure due to the above process. Consequently, this causes depression and increases suicide rates (Singh, 2017). In summary, regarding student failures, the East says it is a personal responsibility, and causes students to become anxious of trying again. However, the West says that it is not only the student’s fault, but also because of a poor environment, and helps students to try again. In conclusion, Eastern education focuses on the quantity of study, which is very difficult to apply in real society. In contrast, Western education tries to look at one problem from a variety of perspectives and provide many ways to engage students. Additionally, there are differences in the classroom, school, and teacher between them. After all, the difference between Eastern and Western working cultures cannot be easily changed because they have learned in the same way as above. Lastly, this essay to the ultimate, the most substantial distinction comes to who is responsible for a student’s failure. In Asia, for students to be encouraged to take challenges again, schools and teachers must remind them that failure is not totally a student’s responsibility.

| Part II - Bibliography
| Reference Cherif, et al.
