         <description><![CDATA[<div>source from: Fort Canning Hill<br>Type: Artefacts<br>Time:14th century<br>Area: culture<br>Inference: The inference show that Singapore used Chinese coins in the 14th Century<br>Evidence: Chinese coins found at Fort Canning Hill which bore inscriptions as Yuan Feng Tong Bao which replaces locally-minted gold and silver as currency in the 14th century. This shows that Chinese culture had influenced the people living in Temasek which resulted in them to change their coins previously to Chinese coins.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Source from: Java<br>Type: Artefacts<br>Time:<em> 10th to 14th century</em><br>Area: culture<br>Inference: From the source we can tell that they had good relations with the Javanese as the people from Singapore were able to communicate with the people from other countries such as the Muslims from Java and that they had good relations with people of other countries.<br>Evidence: <em>Singapore stone was found at the southern mouth of the Singapore river. It was the blockage of the passageway at the river mouth and was blown up to make space for its commander. The Singapore stone looks like a religious item for the Muslims in Java.&nbsp;</em></div>]]></description>
