Pull out the pin. Raise the red lever and squeeze the handles together. Test squirt first, aim at the base of the fire. Always use fire gloves with a BCF.

Donning a smokehood

Take out of the container, place hands inside hood and stretch out the neck seal. Place over head, back to front and pull down so face mask is over your nose and mouth. Pull black toggle at bottom of bag to start or breath deeply, tie tapes around your waist and tuck in.
