Please also check the page of your on-site visit for more specific information. In general you will need:


  • ICOM CC or Museumjaarkaart (if you own one)
    Bring your ICOM-CC or museum card if you have one, some on-site visits will ask for this and it can also be useful if you want to take a look somewhere outside the program.

 

  • ID card of passport
    Please know that at some on-site visits an ID is compulsory (The Cabinet of the King and the Cultural Heritage Laboratory). More specific information will be available on the Padlet e-platform.

 

  • Your own water bottle
    We aim to organize the conference as sustainably as possible. We therefore ask you to bring your own water bottle to the conference and on-site visits.

    Fresh water (including lemon and herbs) will be offered at the venue, also for those without their own water bottle.

 

  • Umbrella and/or waterproof jacket
    Although we are hoping for nice, dry weather -and there is a good chance for that in late May- we cannot be sure. Therefore, make sure you bring an umbrella and/or waterproof jacket. This applies especially to the technical visits.

Lunch and entree fees are included as well (also if you do not possess an ICOM card). Please do bring your ICOM card if you have one!

Transport is only included for train cost to and from the on-site visit and the bustour on June 1st . You will have to pay for the bus, tram and metro within Amsterdam yourself.


OV-Pay

During some of the on-site visits, you need public transport. It is possible to check in and out with your debit card, credit card or mobile on Dutch public transport. For all information (specifically which banks, etc.), please check out this web site OV-Pay (https://www.ovpay.nl/en)
