Not something I'd say I have taken too seriously but I do have a portfolio and have done some photography work with Jack Wills Ltd. I have also helped out and performed in various fashion shows, mainly for local charities such as Barnardo's.

I believe the study of the past allows us to understand so many of the problems of today:

I see sport as being a great social motivator from a young age. Many of my best friends and attributes have come from an intense sporting background, including football, Gaelic football, karate and swimming. I have been lucky to enjoy a successful childhood in a sporting sense, the highlight being my representing Lancashire in a tour of Northern Ireland in 2004.

Human behaviour/ psychology

I realised during my time at university (and perhaps more specifically due to my obsession with hit tv show 'Criminal Minds') that human behaviour is something that intrigues me. Observing the intricacies of the human mind and how one person can affect a generation led me to base my final year dissertation around a somewhat contentious and misunderstood revolutionary, Lev Trotsky. Learning how people think is fascinating!

I'm so proud to be able to say I achieved First Class honours in the study of History. I suppose you could say I'm a bit of a perfectionist and to say I achieved the maximum is really satisfying for me. I want to keep pushing myself to the limit!

Unfortunately (some might say), I am the kind of person that wears footballing attire such as the below. Whilst some might say it makes you a target, I quite like the thought of standing out from the crowd. I am an outgoing and fun person to be around- I like my appearance to reflect this!

Who Am I

In a nutshell, I am someone of a sunny disposition.

I have a positive outlook on life and am always told I am

Mr Nice Guy. Although sometimes arguably my weakness,

(I'm often quoted as being too nice for my own good)

I love to put a smile on someone's face and always try to

make lives easier. I am determined and competitive

but would like to prove nice guys don't have to finish last!

Living within a social media age where everybody knows everything about everybody,

I think it is important to appreciate the lighter side of life. I for one do not take myself too seriously.

Having a good sense of humour is an important attribute. After all, laughter is a smile that bursts!

I think a good way to personalise this

padlet is to relate my personality to a

Thorntons product. For me, I'd compare myself

to the praline melt. Simple, smooth, uncomplicated, with a

hint of something a bit different. The type

of chocolate that gets the job done everytime!

Family/ friends are important to me!

I'm fortunate enough to have been the beneficiary of a great family environment. My parents put a great deal of time, effort and money into sending me to an excellent school. I feel now is the time to really start paying them back (perhaps not literally to begin with). I feel I've been allowed the greatest springboard for success.
