There are 2 types of economics that are controlling American society. Supply side vs. Demand side. The concept of “supply side” was primarily dominant in Ronald Regan’s presidency. Its ideology is basically where taxes should be lowered so that people make investments into businesses that make more profit, and then give back to their investors. The more business, the more booming the economy will be. (Conservative)

The concept of “demand side” was predominant in FDR’s presidency. Its ideology says that the government should increase taxes, so that money can be saved and set aside for times of peril. When those times come, they can create jobs and give out money to aid the American people.
