When Marcus breaks out of the surging crowd, he finds Masha and they begin their plan to escape San Francisco.

After finding an 18-wheel moving truck that would be en route to Los Angeles, Marcus and Masha get in.

Masha, an undercover DHS agent, seemed to be on Marcus's side.
