They are taking risks and the mood in the stories are developing and changing. Please describe a mood or feeling that you are experiencing as you read, and explain which part of the story helped to create that feeling. For example - in Sammy Keyes, chapter 12, When Sammy hides in Grams’ closet when Officer Bosch comes to visit and speak to Grams, I felt very stressed and frustrated. Sammy was listening, and wanted to correct Officer Bosch’s incorrect assumption, but she couldn’t come out and give away the fact that she lives there!
