Why we choose this surfboard

We choose to do a short surf board because it is perfect for plunging waves. Surfers favorite waves to ride are plunging waves because they can ride through the curls and perform tricks. The short board allows for the surfer to move easily riding the wave to make precise tricks. A plunging wave can be seen at the beaches of California and is a popular surf spot for surfers. The wave length is longer than a spilling wave and the distance from the crest to the trough is large allowing a curve to build for the surfers to ride.
