Personal Experience-I can come up ideas relatively easily, but struggle sometimes with the organization in my head.

Personal Experience-Through this strategy I am able to clarify my message and by reading it out loud I can catch anything that does not make sense. It is the point where I ensure my writing says what I want it to say.

Observation-This is a step in the writing process that my students don't like to revisit what they have written. They know what they want to say and have difficulties getting their writing to say it.

Personal Experience-With editing software, this step has become dramatically easier and there is really no excuse for writing mistakes. The one caveat is that I still need to reread and not rely solely on software as there are tenses errors and words that are improperly used although not misspelled.

Personal Experience-It is important that the presentation of my writing reflects the message I am trying to get across. I sometimes become so lost in searching for the right format that it just ends up wasting too much time.
