Due to it being my first attempt at both roles, I still have a lot to learn and improve, and looking back on it, I have learned from the many flaws it has. 

The short film was recorded with BlackMagic Mini Ursa camera and colour graded on DaVinci.

A short film I worked on during the summer of 2023, an outside-of-university project that I'm very proud to be a part of.

It was the first project in which I was the 1st AD, which was an exciting challenge to learn the many skills and functions I needed to know in order to become a great 1st AD for my fellow crew and cast members.

It's also another project I edited in which I was very close with the director throughout the post-production process, as it was another short film in which I could display my editing skills as well as explore more that I learned on the go.

'Tea' - “A young man performs his daily ritual of making a cup of tea. But when his teabags run out, we learn of the heartbreak that he has desperately avoided.”

A project made alongside a crew of talented individuals as a small side project, it’s been a while since then but I had a lot of fun making this and have to give one last big thank you to everyone involved in this.

This film was one of the short films I worked on in my third year of university as part of my final major project in which my role on film was my major role in the unit as the film's editor.

Although it was a one-shot film my job was to put all the footage together to create the illusion that it was a one-shot film. The film itself has 11 hidden cuts which I hid through whiplash, colour blocks, blending and dissolves. At the end of each day I would create a rushes review as well as a mock-up version of how the shots would look put together, by the end of 4th and final shooting date I had a first cut done on Premiere Pro and once post-production officially started I re-edited the whole film on AVID Media Composer alongside my directors and producer.

On set, I also had the responsibilities of being the D.I.T in which the transfer of all the footage and audio was managed and done by me.

This was one of the short films I worked on in my third year of university as part of my final major project in which my role on this film was my minor role in the unit as the film's script supervisor.

Although it was my first time script supervising It was an enjoyable challenge to learn and do the many responsibilities a script supervisor has to do all by himself to keep the continuity of the film in check, working side by side closely with the director and occasionally the production design department.

This is the first commercial I produced which was made for a Kodak Commercial Competition fitting under the Just Eat category, unfortunately, no awards were given but it was still a great experience to produce this commercial as I had joined the project a few days before the shooting dates and managed to get everything ready for it.

My first experience gaffing a film in which I used a handheld LED tube stick.

A project I had the great experience producing, being in charge of our spending budget, filling risk assessments and call sheets, contacting Surrey Council and Surrey Police for their permission to shoot on the road and making sure the crew worked accordingly and to the orders the council and police gave us and as well as helping with the catering of the limited crew we had.
