We're in a poetry unit right now. My students are obsessed with having ChatGPT create poetry per my prompts and it's starting to grate. I am suspicious they're going home and having ChatGPT compose poetry (a lot of it is awful, so that's helpful...?). From what I remember, the first drafts were filled with typical chatGPT clunkiness, but over several rounds of failed drafts, she was eventually able to name her own feelings about something so complex.
