When he found out she was going to be taking french it gave him another reason to join. When leaving his math class he met Teresa. She said hi to him but he didn't know what to say so he ended up just saying "yea that´s me¨. Victor was embarrassed but he had to get to his next class. When the french teacher said "Bonjour" to the students Victor shyly/softly said it back. When the teacher asked who could speak french Victor raised his hand trying to impress Teresa. When doing this he made a fool of himself because the teacher asked him a question, and he didn't know how to respond. Victor pleaded after messing up for the teacher to not make a scene. After class when Teresa asked him to help teach her french Victor began to start enjoying the school. Immediately as Teresa walked off , Victor began to think about what he should have said differently . Another instance is when , he embarrassed himself when he volunteered and told the teacher he could speak french but actually couldn't . Once he raised his hand . Mr. Bueller said something to him in french . Of course Victor didn't understood what he said so he tried to bluff and seem as if he spoke french anyway . The teacher however noticed he didn't so turned away leaving Victor nervous and embarrassed with everyone looking at him.

As she was leaving, she noticed him and said "Hi." Even though this was his chance to talk to her and say "something clever" back, he just says "yeah that's me." He was embarrassed and wished he had said something different. Another example is when they were in French class. The teacher asked if anyone knew french, and Victor raised his hand trying to impress Teresa. When asked to speak in french, he became really embarrassed because he couldn't. He thought the teacher would say something about it but was relieved when he understood and just moved on. At the end of the day, Victor had many embarrassing moments but was happy because Teresa was impressed and asked him to tutor her. It all ended up working out. Victor is feeling really hopeful at the end of the story. Well, they eventually bumped into each other and she said something to him. He just said something totally different than what he afterwards thought of saying; he was trying to play it cool.
2- He tried to impress her in french class, when the teacher asked if anyone there knew french, he said he did. He really didnt know, the teacher called him out and Victor didnt know any french, so just started to mumble things out. The teacher didnt understand what he was saying, but he didnt say anything to him and just started with class.
- At the end of the day, he kind of did ended up impressing Teresa, even though he didnt know any french at all, but she didnt know that. Teresa asked for help from him, and he accepted; but he had study french so he could actually help her. 
- He feels better now, he thinks it will be a good year. 2-The other one i has was when he was in french class and the teacher ask if anyone knows some and he raised his hand. He truly don't know any so he just starts saying things that sound french. He fooled the class but not the teacher.The teacher don't call him out because he was trying to impress a girl and the teacher had a experience like that and thinks to himself and decides not to call him out.He was truly embarrassed about that but no one knew but the teacher because no one it the class knew any french even though he made a fool of him no one knew of it. He was thankful for the teacher for not calling him out.

The good thing that happened was that his french teacher did not snitch to Teresa that he really did not know how to speak french. Another time was when we saw her outside the class . Teresa was nice and said hi but all Victor  said was "Yeah, that´s me.¨  Which was very smooth but he did not even say hi back that he was disrespectful but funny at the same time .He didnt think about what he until after he said it .Then  he thought about what he said and he could not say anything after that.   Victor´s day turned out to end up better than he thought. So when Teresa said "Hey Victor", Victor said "Yeah that's me" now usually at this point in time a normal person would say hey how are you, but here in this moment we have a nervous 7th grade boy who has had a crush on a girl since catechism classes st 'Saint Theresa's". So he doesn't know what to say because he is shy so no he regrets what he said and wishes he started an actual conversation and now he felt stupid and embarrassed.
2.  When Victor got into the class with his crush and it was french and can you imagine he didn't know french but when the teacher asked who knows french something told him that he had to impress Teresa so guess what he did, he raised his hand. Victor was asked to speak french and once he started he felt embarrassed he could feel the eyes stare at him as he tried to but words together and he felt embarrassed.
