For our next assignment I would like to write about being a long-distance runner. Since my sophomore year in high school I have been a proud runner and the feeling of accomplishment I get at the end of a race or run makes the exhaustion during it all worth the while. Just like many skills and hobbies, running has a specific vocabulary and mind set that I plan on sharing in my paper. (That's me after getting my first medal for 12th place out of 52 on my first cross-country race! First 15 got medals.)
