Preschool kids are incapable of conservation. Kids can't understand that volume and mass can't change because of their appearance. For example kids can tell that if you have two cups of water with the same amount in them that they are the same. But if you pour one of the water into a bigger cup then the kid would say the bigger cup has more water.

Preschool kids are egocentric. The kids view the world in their own perspective. For example if a kid hides under something that is easily visible to see, then they believe they are not visible. The child has an egocentric view beacuse he believes the world is all about him.

After the age of two children start to talk and learn words. Kids learn more than fourteen-thousand words at the age of six. Kids start to develop how they talk and their word usage even though most of their sentences are very simple. Kids talk by dropping initial consonant and using simpiler forms beacuse it's the easiest way for them to talk.
