Tracking shots show movement
Following Zsofi so she's still in frame
Slight shaking of the door to show that it is a human looking through it
Panning to establish shots
Following shots to keep things in frame
During the argument between Liza and Miss Erica Lisa is shaky, and Miss Erica is perfectly still
Panning show continuity/ reactions to things
Zooming out to include more things in the shot
Following characters allows for exposition
And helps keep them as the center of attention as well as following her movements to allow for more interesting cinematography in otherwise exposition filled shots
Shaky shots indicate lack of proper equipment (or perhaps intentional to draw away from the shaky panning shots, or show a childlike perspective)
Dynamic shot movement for action
Movement and close shots for chaotic and crowded scenes, constantly drawing attention around the screen
Mostly still shots after the beginning exposition
Follows movement to shift attention from different objects and sections of the screen
Generally to keep characters in frame/in the same section of the frame
Constantly shifting attention over the yard before bringing attention to a specific section
Brings more movement and keeps things interesting
Good for exposition (medium - wide angle shots)
Shift attention to things you wouldn't usually notice (kids not singing)
