1) Representing false identity is like a false facade.
2) When you are online and you fake your identity it tends to show that you are not proud of who you are as a person and that should not be the case.

dhiya: it depends on the situation for what you present yourself as for example if you want to like bully or spread rumours about someone while pretending to be another person it is wrong but if it's just minor changes like your hair/eye colour or anything then it's okay to not present yourself as  an untrue version of me
phaedra: when we say something that it's not true ,people will look up online to see the truth .
laura : people might look up to our fake version of ourselves and it might put extra pressure on ourselves to become the fake version of ourselves but at the same time not everyone is happy with the version of ourselves and our fake version of ourselves might boost our confidence and make us feel better.

When I say something about myself people might take it the wrong way and it’s a bit of a hassle for me to explain myself again

For public accounts, we should post a healthy amount of fake stuff and real stuff as we do not want any stalkers, creeps and strangers to know too much about our life. 

For private accounts, I think that we should post genuine stuff as only selected people would be able to view them.
