The year prior I was a long term sub in first grade.
Prior to being in the classroom I worked at a science education center, the Challenger Learning Center of Maine, where I taught various science programs to students grades K-9th. I planned and ran summer and vacation programs, after school clubs, homeschool programs, and public education events.
During that time I also worked as a long term sub teaching 6th grade ELA for half a year.
Before that I did a TESOL Certification program in Prague through the Oxford University London, and then stayed and taught English for a year in various language schools, businesses, the military offices, and private students from ages 5 - 80yrs old.

Red Lake is the only closed American Indian reservation in Minnesota, and we are immersed in the Ojibwe/Anishinaabe culture.
