2. Half of kitchen towel dipped in Cup A turned red within about 5 seconds

1. Half of kitchen towel in Cup C turned wet about 5 seconds later - the part that is in Cup B  (colourless)

2. Half of kitchen towel in Cup A turned wet about 5 seconds later  - the part that is in Cup B (colourless)

Both amount of water in Cup A Cup C did not seem to decrease (water level remained same)

2. After dipping end of kitchen towel (1/4 of it), half of the kitchen towel turned wet within 5 seconds

3. After 1 minute, 3/4 of kitchen towel turned wet

Part 2 of experiment (using red colouring)

1. Two kitchen towels were also used and folded into a strip
2. After dipping end of kitchen towel, 1/4 of it turned red within 5 seconds
3. After 1 minute, half of the kitchen towel turned red
