1: - Attendence / punctuality to lessons.

This week, I have attended all of my lessons on time. This is no improvement from last term as I attended all of my lessons from last term on time.

2:- Research and analysis skills.

I done a lot of researching skills in my magazine creating unit with Chris, where I conducted primary and secondary research to help me create a fantastic presentation / pitch to Chris and two fellow students. My pitch got very positive feedback from Chris and my colleagues. My skills for researching and analysing feedback have also came from this unit, from analysising feedback from surverys from my classmates. I will always use this for all of my projects at Harlwo College.

3:- Confidence in verbal and written communication.

My confidence has massively improve as I conducted a pitch with high colours, as it went really well. I also found more confidence on speaking in groups from focus groups and vox-pops, talking to friends or people who I have never met before. My written communication has stayed the same as I am a strong writer and has a clear understanding of spelling, punctuations and gamma.

I'm a very organised individual. I always attende to lessons - never late; I also complete all the work before deadlines - such as homework and coursework.

1. Stringer:

It is a part-time employment which the person is paid for the work they do. The business that do this tip elf contract are freelance journalist and photographers. The benefits for the individual are that they get an ongoing relationship with the workers, they have flexible hours and they are paid for all the work that they do. The drawbacks for the individual are that there might be no work for them to do, meaning no money. The company benefits are that it saves them money for health insurance and it gives them more employment for their company. The company drawbacks are that the stringer might not be reliable for work and it the stringer leaves, they have no stringer to replace him/her. The personal qualities and skills are that they need to have good communication, team-working and listing skills to get into this type of contract.

2. Freelancer:

The employment is a self-employed worker, someone who workers for themselves (owner of their company). The business that do this type of contract are self-employers, yourself. The individual benefits are that your the boss so you make your own choices, not anyone else. The individual drawbacks are that as your the boss, it's hard to make discussions for your company is you want to go on a break; as you could loose money if you go on a break. The company benefits are that you can get lots of money. The company drawback is that it is a lot of hard work and you need to have the experience before you make your own business. The personal skills and qualities are that you need to have a creative mindset, organised and a good time-keeper.

3. Casual worker:

The employment is that they are only employed when they are needed. The businesses that do this type of contract are the film industry, as they can employ local people. The individual benefits are that you can get local people into your job in different locations. The individual drawback is that you can loose employers if you don't treat them in the right way. The company benefit is that it's easy ti get employment. A company drawback is that you can loose employers by moving away or loosing money by the same action, moving away to different places across the UK. The personal skills and qualities are that you need to have a good work ethic and good communication skills.

4. Part-time:

A part-time worker is someone who can work less than 32 hours per week, anytime which is best for them (weekends or evening shifts). The business that does this type of contract are photographer or other industries. The individual benefits are that it is flexible and you get paid the same way as full-time employers. The individual drawbacks are that part-time jobs are hard to get. The company benefits are that it increases their company employment. The company drawbacks are that if they leave, it leaves a bad mark on your company. The personal skills and qualities are that you need to have a creative mind-set and good people skills.

The employment of this type of contract is that you work at the company all the time, in the correct amount of hours per week (35-40). My team of Jake and Beth was a real success, Beth and Jake both found fantastic research for the subjects on what Lorraine gave us to research, jobs within the media industry (types of contracts). Jake and Beth listened to the task instructions very well and they helped me out if I couldn't find the right information. The feedback that I got from my colleagues was very positive. I kept a professional body posture and I was confident on my speaking. The improvements that I was given where reasonable, they where that I should have better eye contact, give shorter answers, be clam and speak slower. The impact opt my achievements would make me have a professional outlook from the manager and that would increase my chances of getting the job. I will achieve deadlines in a professional manor as I'm very organise and I have a good and professional past in work by being organised and I will have this tap;net throughout my working career. I will improve on my target making skills, as I have a habit on setting myself too m,any targets for one day or setting them to high; meaning that they sometimes unable or physically possible to achieve. I also need to be more relax when speaking to new people as I have a tendency on having abad stutter and losing eye-contact with the individual so I have been improving on this by beimgn relaxed and beaching a more flamer working individual.

On that lesson, I completed a agenda sheet with alex. I was going to find more background images on google and then photoshop then and Alex will carry on with the animation. We had a number of issues. My computer decided to play-up which slowed down our working peocess and we are now seriously behind. Also, Alex has an issues with helping others orspeaking to others, this is alos affecting our work. Also, alex is very unorganised as most of the backgrounds we sorted out before we even started the animation but for some reason he can't find them, I belie e that this is due to alex's unorganised manour around this project, so I have a strong feeling that it will be on Alex's shoulders if we both fail to complte the e-book before the deadline as I have done all of the work in the most professional manour but Alex seems top not bother on working as a team unit as he dosent' seem to understand that this is a very impornat part of our coursewprk an I don't fancy faling this unit and letting myself and my family down, as they want me to pass everything. Lalya is happy with my attitude and work ethic towards this unit as I have completed all of the relavent courseowkr (e-book still on working progress) and I have completed all of the audio diaries which she stes evry week and they are completed before te dealine. My main focus now is to finish the e-book, with alex or without; if he starts to not bother doing this professionally, I will consider on leaving hom out of the group if he doesn't understand that we need to complete this and we need to complete this fast!

I completed my work experience on the 30th November - 4th December 2015. I went to the NHS Communication Centre in Chelmsford where I was given a task to create a website template for the ST Aubyn Centre for children with Mental Health Issues as their website needs to be updated and improved. I believe that Hannah is very happy with me as I was one of two who have completed the work expericne on that week and I brang a lot of positive feedback from my expericne there. Alison Coob I belive was very happy with me as she called me in January when offsted was at Harlow and she was pleased about the feedback that I gave her from my experience at the NHS. I am a professional worker who has a hight exspectation on hard work and I showed that on my work expericne so this is why Hannah is happy with my work as I am professional in all sistuations and I present myself in a professional manour and I work to the highest standards in any working enviroment.

Finance talk - the talk which we had on finance was very intriguing. The gentleman who was talking to use said that the average salary for 16 - 18 year old was £161.40 per week, making it £8,392.80 per year. He also said that the National Insurance helps use out on our state pention, mkng our older lives a lot easier. Also, GROSS means that it is your overall amount, the money which is left over is called a NET.

Salary for jobs:

I have been effective on achieving my targets, I also have completed them at home as I filter my work out throughout the week, so I don't stress myself out on trying to complete all my work in one day and having no breaks. I will ensure that I will achieve all of the deadlines for all of my units; (3,5 and 6), by filtering all of my work throughout the week and not setting myself too many targets to acieve in the wone day. I done this same method in my last term and it worked as I completed all of the work before the deadline, so I will carry on with this working method as it works professionall and effectively.

I completed my work experience on the 30th - 4th December 2015. I went to the NHS Communications Centre at Chelmsford to work along side the Communications team for the NHS Foundation Trust. I was in-charged by Martin Cresswell, the Associate Director of the Communications Centre. On the first day, I was introduced to Martin and the rest of the team, me and Martin then sat down in one of the meeting rooms and we spoke about Harlow College, my course and about the NHS itself. Martin then told me later on in the day that he was going to give me a project to complete throughout my time here; that project was to create a website template for the St Aubyns Centre for children with Mental Health Issues. Martin told me that this Centre is only a few years old and it has had very successful reviews and has be recommended as one of the best Centres for Mental Health Issues in the UK. So, throughout the next few days during my time their, I created a plan, written and imaginative version of the website template; making it three completed templates. On my fourth day, Martin took me to the St Aubyns Centre to speak to the Head of the Education Board to show her the website template and to get her feedback on what improvements that I could make. She was very impressed on what I created and she gave me some feedback for me to work on. On my final day, I got the Communciations team a gift for saying thank you for letting me work their and also thanking them for giving me an expercine which I will never forget. Martin said that I was a pleasure to teach, an honour to work a long side and to talk to. Whe I came back to Harlwo, I told Hannah about my expericne and she was very pleased about the feedback which I came back with and the work which I showed her, I really enjoyed my work expericne and I will never forget it.

I have demonsrated this when I worked at Elsenham Golf and Leisure; as I had to work a long side the chef, bar tendors and front counter employees. The targets that I have setted myself for Sunday the 6th and Monday the 7th are targets that will be achieved on those days. On Monday the 7th, I will complete Diary 6 if I can't find the owerPoint with the information about it which will help me to write it up. Then, I will complete the presentation infront of Lorraine for my final assessment, the presentation. These targets which I have setted myself will be comopleted as they are easy to complete and are achievable.

Targets for Final Major Project:

1. Pick a topic whioch you are interested in.
2. Pick a project which is achievable to your ability.
3. Create a pitch or presentation / proposal to get your collegues interested in your project, this will allow you to get workers for you; making it easier to complete.
4. Be calm, don't stress in the unit.
5. Spread the targets and tasks evenly so everyone in your group / yourself can achieve them.

The evidence that I have of consideration and professionalism when working with others is during my Music Video and E-book units at College. On the Music Video Unit, I was the Director so I had the responsibility of everyone else in my team; Alex West, Hannah Wills and Jack Gregory. Throughout the unit, we had issues as someday Hannah or Jack didn't come in when we needed them the most and the actors were very hard to get. I got a little stressed and started to panic, but I stayed professional in the process. When we found our actors, we started to film, but we then had issues as the actors then didn't wanted to come in or film and then Jack never came in at all. On the film day of filming, me and Hannah got the actors and filmed the last remaining scenes and gave them to Alex; as he was the editor. Even though I was stressed throughout the unit, I stayed confident and I listened to all comments made by each team member of my production team. The e-book was the next challenge in my second term. I wa steamed with alex again, I was confident as he knew a lot abut editing when he started a year before I stated. Me and Alex had our ups and downs throughout this unit, somedays; Alex didn't do any work as he "couldn't be asked" and he didn't come in on the extra days as he "couldn't be asked". When we started to fall behind on the production schedule, I started to panic; but I understood that some days, Alex was having a hard time with other issues. Alex and I knuckled down and started to make fast progress, by the final esson; we only had a few things to do. Alex came in on his days off to rendor the e-book animation and to add some final improvements. Overall, I stayed professional in all serconstances and the outcomes of my work have made me more professional and helful in woring in a team in a team-working enviroemnt / situation.

My attendece records throughut mt first and my second term at College have been very high standard, I have never missed a day off college on my time table so I have attdned every lesson to date and I have handed in all homework being set on those days. The statements / comments that I have been given my my tutors have all been positive. The comment that I'm a ahrd working indervdiual with the passion to learn new skills and hve always been on time and always hand in homeowkr to the highest standard. My observation recoreds have also been at a high standards as I have passed all of my first term units and working on passing all of my current units in my second term. All of my tutors are proud on my hard working ethic towards classes and high standrs on work and homework. I helped at the first opening evening held at harlwo and myself and Jack Connolly had lots of positive feedback throughout the evening; all of the parents were happy with our conduct throughout the eving and all of the memebrs of staff were happy with are professionalism throughout the evening. My work experience was completed in Decmeber at the NHS Communications Centre at Chelmsford. I had lots of feedback from the Associate Dirctor, Martin Cresswell, about my professionalism throughout my time their and wkring professionaly along side the other memebrs of the Communciations team. My class projects have shown profesionaliosm throughout as I have attended all of my lessons, handed in every homeowkr setted and also passed all of my first term units. I haven't looked into Young Professionals as I'm already succeeding in my current job at Elms BMW, as I have been made a Parts Advisor and I have used my photography skills in a event to get young children / school leavers interested into the car working indursty; I was reperesnting the Parts Assistant / Apprentice for Elms BMW as we are looking into getting another apprentice.
