This week centered on Hadith Jibril, where Angel Jibril questioned the Prophet ﷺ about Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. The hadith is crucial as it summarizes the essence of our religion. It strengthens our bond with Allah, improves our relationships with others, purifies the soul from sins, and helps us live as true servants of Allah.

Belief in the Hereafter, Rasul and Anbiya’, Qada’ and Qadar

We then covered the rest of the Pillars of Iman: belief in the messengers, in the Last Day, and in divine decree (Qada’ and Qadar). Surah Nuh (verses 1–28) was discussed to highlight the story of Prophet Nuh’s perseverance in da’wah. We also went through the stages of Qiyamah to remind us of accountability in the Hereafter. The concept of Qada’ and Qadar taught us to accept Allah’s decree with patience and gratitude.

Ihsan and Eschatology

Assalamualaikum to all of you! For the week 7 of usrah we has been exposed about topic "IHSAN AND ESCHATOLOGY".

From my understanding, Ihsan means to worship Allah as if we see Him, and even if we do not see Him, we believe that He surely sees us. It is the highest level of faith after Islam and Iman, as mentioned in the Hadith of Jibril. Ihsan is about striving for excellence in worship, good character, and dealings with people and creation. It means going beyond the minimum requirement, doing things with beauty, sincerity, and perfection.

In the Qur’an and Hadith, Ihsan is emphasized in many ways, such as:

Being just and kind to others.

Treating parents with utmost respect and mercy.

Doing every action in the best way possible, even in matters like slaughtering animals, which must be done with kindness.

Living with a sense of muraqabah (awareness that Allah is always watching).

Meanwhile, Eschatology refers to belief in the afterlife, resurrection, and the Day of Judgment. Islam teaches that this world will end on the appointed Day of Qiyamah. All humans will be resurrected and judged by Allah. The righteous will enter Paradise, while those who reject faith will face Hell.

The significance of believing in the Hereafter is:

It makes us responsible for our deeds, knowing we will be held accountable.

It gives hope for eternal reward and Paradise.

It warns us against disbelief, sin, and arrogance.

It explains that ultimate justice will be served in the Hereafter.

The relationship between Ihsan and Eschatology is clear: those who practice Ihsan—living with excellence, sincerity, and God-consciousness—are the ones who will earn Allah’s pleasure and be rewarded with Paradise.

As Muslims, we should apply Ihsan in our daily lives by:

Striving for excellence in worship and sincerity in actions.

Treating others with kindness, respect, and fairness.

Living every day with the awareness that Allah is watching us.

Preparing for the Hereafter by obeying Allah and following the Sunnah.

That is all from me. May Allah guide us to live with Ihsan and grant us success in the Hereafter.

The Truth Behind the Judgement Day

From my understanding, the topic is about the reality of the Day of Judgement, a major belief in Islam that reminds us of accountability, resurrection, and the final destiny of mankind. It is connected to Eschatology, the study of the end times, which describes the end of this world, the signs of Qiyamah, and what will happen to humanity afterwards.

The Qur’an and Hadith explain that no one knows when the Hour will come, except Allah. However, there are many minor and major signs that indicate its approach. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) mentioned these signs, such as people competing in building tall buildings, disobedience of children to parents, the coming of Imam Mahdi, the emergence of Dajjal, the descent of Prophet Isa (AS), the appearance of Ya’juj and Ma’juj, the rising of the sun from the west, and many more.

The significance of believing in the Day of Judgement is:

It makes us realize that all our deeds will be judged by Allah.

It gives us hope for eternal reward in Paradise.

It warns us to avoid sins, disbelief, and arrogance.

It reminds us that ultimate justice belongs to Allah in the Hereafter.

As Muslims, we should prepare for the Judgement Day by:

Living with taqwa (God-consciousness).

Obeying Allah’s commands and following the Sunnah.

Treating others with kindness, respect, and fairness.

Avoiding arrogance, injustice, and sinful acts.

The relationship between our actions today and the Day of Judgement is very clear: those who live with sincerity, righteousness, and obedience to Allah will be rewarded with Paradise, while those who deny will face punishment.

That is all from me. May Allah protect us from the trials of the end times and grant us safety and success in the Hereafter.
