You will carefully use the safety scissors in your pencil case to cut out the words as best as you can.

Then, take your glue and glue the words on the SHORT VOWELS side or the LONG VOWELS side.

Long a will say it's name
Short a will not

This is tricky stuff, but I know how smart my 1st graders are!

I will be assigning the students worksheets that I printed off for them. Participation means more than anything during these times. It is not necessary for the students to prove they have "completed" the worksheet but instead, please allow them to reflect by leaving a comment on the post. This will be beneficial for their comprehension.
