I noticed a character motivation on page 104."During all this time he never saw anyone anywhere close to the fence; nor did he find a hut or door leading to the other side." I noticed that Bruno wanted to get across the fence. Bruno wanted to get across the fence because there was a kid on the other side of the fence and he wanted to meet him. Bruno wanted to meet the kid because the boy is dressed differently. As time goes on he noticed that everybody on that side of the fence wear striped pajamas. Bruno wants to jump the fence to meet the boy because everyone on the boy's side of the fence wear striped pajamas and a striped hat.
pg. 104

I noticed a motivation on page 202." You still want to help me find Papa? asked Shmuel, and Bruno nodded quickly. Of course." I noticed a motivation on page 202. On page 202 Shmuel thought that there was no chance he was going to find his dad and that he wanted to give up. He asked Bruno if he wanted to stop and Bruno said no. Bruno was motivated to find Shmuel's Papa because Shmuel was Bruno's friend and Shmuel only had 1 friend. He kept on trying to find his papa with Shmuel
pg. 202

I noticed a motivation on page 215. " Father stayed at Out-With for another year after that and became very disliked by the other soldiers." I noticed a motivation on page 215. I noticed that his Father stayed at the Out-With because he was determined to find out where Bruno went. His Father was motivated when he found his sons clothes next to the side of the fence because it gave him an idea of where he was last seen. In the end he didn't find Bruno and he was taken away.
