         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jisoo Kim is a PhD student at the X-ray Imaging/Tomography group at ETH Zurich and the Paul Scherrer Institut. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Nuclear and Quantum Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Before starting his PhD, he has worked on detector development for Positron Emission Tomography systems.<br><br></div><div>The current PhD project is to develop and implement methods for X-ray scattering tensor tomography. The objective of the project is to analyze anisotropic microstructures within a large field-of-view (FOV) with unprecedented data acquisition speed.<br><br></div>]]></description>

After graduation, She continued her project as a visiting researcher at Biruni Observatory.<br><br></div><div>Since 2019, Shiva is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the field of computational electron tomography at the imec-Vision Lab, Department of Physics, University of Antwerp, Belgium.</div>]]></description>

He obtained his BS degree in physics from the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and his MS degree in Molecular Photonics for bio- and nanotechnologies (MONABIPHOT) from the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, Cachan, France, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. Within MUMMERING,he is involved in carrying out research into developing methods for material classifications from Spectral X-ray CT using recently-developed photon counting detectors as well as investigating a reconstruction technique of multi energy data that takes advantage of the physical properties that correlates the information in the spectral dimension.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Anuj finished his undergraduate in materials science and engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India in 2018 before moving to The University of Manchester for his PhD.<br><br>His research efforts from undergraduate days have spanned areas regarding bio sensing, MEMS, surface treatment of metals, X-ray tomographic analysis for studying aluminium and steels under loading and corrosion respectively.<br><br>For his PhD he’s studying the fatigue behaviour of unidirectional glass and carbon fibre composites employing a unique correlative workflow which uses a range of characterisation modalities across varying lengths of scale.</div>]]></description>

During his Master studies at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, Germany and Aarhus Universitet, Denmark he wrote his Master´s Thesis at the Corporate Research Centre of Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen, Germany. After his time as Lead Engineer Numerical Analyses in the automotive industry he joined Chalmers in 2019. His research focus lies there in the modelling of the mechanical properties of fibre reinforced composites by taking advantage of the immense possibilities of X-ray computer tomography.</div>]]></description>
