I think that the Horse and The Rope relates to anxiety because much like the horse when we experience something.we try to fix it but even if you fix it.It still haunts you like if you have a bad day you will think about that thing that you are stressing about.Like the horse thinks that it can never break free.

The story about the horse provided an example of prior experiences that led the horse to believe it cannot escape from the rope that is no longer enough to hold it back. this relates to us because we might experience something in our childhood that hold us back for example insults as a child

The tale relates to how we fix on the negative, as it is what we are used to. There's something in psychology called learned helplessness which connects perfectly into the story. When we feel anxiety and stress, it is usually because of past experiences, past traumas, and those manifest into fears that bond us like a rope, despite there being solutions all around us.
Tiffany N.

The story relates to the anxiety that we feel by showing us that anxiety might act as a rope around us, something that we believe is too much to handle, but in actuality, we can easily overcome it. We worry about not being able to break free of our anxiety just because we have always been pushed back by it. The horse gave up on breaking free, much like how we stop trying to deal with the emotions that we encounter. Instead, we should be constantly pushing to handle things, since we all have the capacity to be free, we just need to find the breaking point.
