-It was important that Congress could issue coins or create currency because it made it so that there was not an imbalance of power. There was then Fair trade between states.
-Congress being able to borrow money is also a big deal because when in need of money Congress did not have to worry or get frustrated trying to gather the money in need.
-Due to Congress being able to sign treaties with other countries there were many peace treaties signed (such as the Peace Treaty of Paris) in order to avoid war or fights.
-Since Congress could ask states for money or soldiers they had what they needed to go into war.

-The government not having a president or national government made such a weakness because without a president or national government they were unable to raise money or pay back war debts. This could have been improved on by declaring a president therefore the nation would at least have a central government.
-The fact that states could refuse requests from congress when in need of money or soilders was a big weakness because if congress were in need for soilders during war or money for extra supplies then the congress would not be able to have soilders for war and therefore they could lose lots of battles. The A.O.C failed due to its many weaknesses, one such as the people having to much power over the central government. Then Shay’s Rebellion was created because of the weak government.
