My opinion about this book:
It tells us that we should always help the ones in need. We also cannot do injustice. It tells us a lot of moral. You should buy this book. 

Each fairy has a Book that contains all of their magical secrets in one convenient location. Artemis, of course, has simple tastes—all he really wants is the fairies' gold. So he blackmails a drunken fairy into giving him her Book, and realizes the fairy gold in the legends is actually just a ransom fund for kidnapped People.

So soon he tried to kidnap a fairy. Though kidnapping a fairy is harder than it sounds. Artemis gets more than he bargains for when he and his bodyguard, Butler, kidnap Captain Holly Short, a LEPrecon officer. Holly's boss, Julius Root, goes on a rescue mission, and Mulch Diggums—the flatulent dwarf—is sent in by Julius Root and Foaly, the brilliant technician of the LEP, to find out where Fowl is getting his info. And some fairies think stopping time and releasing a troll in Artemis's manor are great ideas.

Long story short, Artemis's plan goes crazy, Butler is taken out by a troll and almost dies, Holly heals him and the fairies decide to just give the gold up in exchange for Holly and BIO-BOMBED the house, killing every living thing inside. In classic Artemis fashion though, he figures out how to do what no one has ever done before, and escapes the time-bubble and the biological bomb—which means the fairy rules declare him the winner and he keeps the gold.

Moral: We shouldn't be greedy and cruel. In this story, Artemis acts very greedy and cruel to the fairy folk, and we shouldn't follow that part of him.

My opinion about this book: This book is my favorite book, apart from Harry Potter. The storyline is amazing and the characters are also awesome, such as Butler and his amazing skills(cooking, spying, martial arts, weapon master). This book is criminally good.

In book one, Artemis disrupted the fairy world by stealing their sacred book, kidnapping a Lower Elements Police (LEP) officer named Holly Short and claiming a ransom of fairy gold. Now, as goblins smuggle contraband from the human world — a plan too complex for them to think on their own — the LEP suspect Artemis is the goblins’ human contact. Holly and her superior, Commander Julius Root, question Artemis and clear him of suspicion. Root says if Artemis will help the fairies catch the real culprit, he (Root) and Holly will help Artemis rescue his father.

Butler halts the human who is helping the goblin squad (known as the B’wa Kell), but the LEP remain unaware that a disgraced member of their squad (Cudgeon) and their main technology supplier (Opal Koboi) have masterminded the B’wa Kell’s operation as a cover for their larger plot to gain revenge and power. As Artemis, Butler, Holly and Root battle goblins, arctic conditions and nuclear radiation in Russia, Opal, Cudgeon and the goblins shut down all LEP systems below ground and trap Foaly, a brilliant LEP technician and centaur, in his operations booth to frame him for instigating the revolution.

Though Cudgeon and Opal have disabled all LEP systems and weaponry, Foaly uses the laptop LEP confiscated from Artemis to send the team in Russia word of the revolution. Root, Artemis, Holly and Butler quickly change course, picking up kleptomaniac dwarf Mulch Diggums in Beverly Hills before heading back underground. Besides having superb burrowing abilities, Mulch knows the layout of Koboi Industries and the way the building was constructed. He helps the group infiltrate the Koboi headquarters and neutralize Cudgeon, Opal and the B’wa Kell.

Artemis’ group returns to Russia, where they narrowly save Artemis I from his kidnappers. Artemis II returns home after a friendly parting with Holly. He must pretend to know nothing about the events in Russia, while Butler ensures Artemis that Artemis I is receiving treatment in a Finnish hospital until he’s able to return home.

Moral: 
1. Don't be a traitor
The disgraced member of the LEP, Cudgeon, betrayed his LEP comrades in want of power and glory.
2. Don't be arrogant
All Cudgeon think was himself, he did not consider about any of his comrade or Opal and the B'wa Kell.
3. Don't lie
Artemis lied to his school using his mother's name.
4. Don't be greedy
Luc was a greedy man who was easily bribed by Cudgeon, if he wasn't so greedy, maybe the Goblin wouldn't have rebelled.

My opinion: As I said before, Artemis Fowl is my favorite series. In this story, There were a few plot twist(such as Cudgeon betraying the LEP). These plot twist make these books even more good. +The storyline, characters and moral is amazing. I recommend this book if you are very bored. This is a worthwhile all-night reader.

The heist is ultimately successful, with Artemis retrieving the Cube after tricking Spiro into entering a rival company's headquarters to steal their new products. The Chicago police immediately arrive to arrest Spiro and his associates, and Foaly wipes Artemis' movements from the CCTV. Holly and Juliet remove Artemis from the crime, and return with Mulch to Ireland. Although Arno Blunt escapes and tries to enter Ireland to kill Artemis, Butler has him detained and frightens him into confessing his crimes. Root then has the three humans mind-wiped, after Holly mesmerizes Artemis to see if there were any traces left to trigger his memories. However, Artemis tricks them all, as he has had Butler commission three sets of contact lenses to stop the process. Artemis reveals the location of several files he created to hide his knowledge of the fairy world. Artemis' actual plan to retrieve his memories involves Mulch Diggums. Artemis has the date of the search warrant of Mulch's cave changed to the day after his first arrest, rendering all subsequent convictions null and void. Artemis then hands Mulch a gold medallion before his mind-wipe, which is actually a computer disc containing all of Artemis' memories. Although Mulch is captured, he takes comfort in the knowledge that "together they will be unstoppable."

My opinion: The story of this book was very thrilling. There was many thrilling moments, such as when Holly revived Butler when he was already dead. Personally, I was horrified when Butler died. I was relieved when he got revived. This book is worth buying.
