Better to be safe than sorry, make strong passwords and don't share private information with other people, not everyone has the best intentions, you can never know for sure, that's why in my recommendations I suggest a few things

1 - Common sense, is the best antivirus, if you don't trust the program or it looks too good to be true, maybe don't click that big
"Download" button
2 - Be vary of potential shady people online, some people may be malicious and trying to actively gain something from you, block and avoid those people immediately or press the "Report" button if possible

In conclusion, internet safety is essential if you wanna have a good time and not be at risk

The biggest evil on the internet is the internet predators or bullies and they can make a lot of damage to people. If you want to be safe on the internet and avoid shady people you must act safely. So, for that reason, I recommend you don't go to chat sites, don’t communicate with strangers, block them immediately and don’t share any your personal information – people you meet online aren't always who they claim to be and they may not even be real. No one will protect you better than you – keep that in mind :)
Rugilė

Now a days internet is inseparable from our life. The internet makes life easier, by letting people communicate faster and more efficiently then any other communication type. People have a lot of friends on internet that they don’t even know in real life. There is where the problem comes. Internet is full of predators who are lurking and searching for people on internet who are naive. This problem needs to be stopped by people understanding this risk and by following a few rules. You need to understand, that internet predators use fake accounts and talk the sweet talk, by trying to gain your trust. So don’t trust people on internet 100% who you don’t know in real life. If you have kids, make sure to give internet access to your kid when he is old enough, because some of the predators find young kids and try to get info about them and they’re families or they could just share inappropriate information to you’re kids. So be carful on internet.

These days, the internet has become a particularly unsafe place for both young people and adults, where an unsecured decision can change your life. If you want to be safe, you should always think about everything before doing anything and think about the consequences you can expect because all the information left online can be used for the wrong things. As we spend more time on social networks, we feel that we are getting addicted to them and these days they take a big place in a person’s life. If you don’t want to cause yourself problems, think carefully about whether it’s worth raising something that everyone would see, and what benefits we could get from it.

Internet safety or online safety or cyber safety or E-Safety is trying to be safe on the internet and is the act of maximizing a user's awareness of personal safety and security risks to private information and property associated with using the internet, and the self-protection from computer crime. As the number of internet users continues to grow worldwide, internets, governments and organizations have expressed concerns about the safety of children and teenagers using the Internet. Over 45% have announced they have endured some sort of cyber-harassment. Safer Internet Day is celebrated worldwide in February to raise awareness about internet safety. In the UK the Get Safe Online campaign has received sponsorship from government agency Serious Organized Crime Agency and major Internet companies such as Microsoft and eBay.
ADOMAS

The internet is a fascinating area where you may study, conduct research for a project, and communicate with family and friends. However, the internet can be a highly hazardous place for children since websites on the internet can lead them to improper websites, luring them into harmful circumstances, and postings on the internet can have long-term consequences. Now that he or she has access to the internet and gives out personal information, he or she is being lured into a dangerous situation known as "stranger danger," in which predators track him or her down and he or she goes missing as a result of the information given on the accessible laptop or computer. For instance, a website that I have heard of can lead to this kind of issue. In February, the globe commemorates Safer Internet Day to promote awareness about online safety. The Get Safe Online campaign in the United Kingdom has gained support from the government's Serious Organized Crime Agency as well as major Internet corporations
Pijus
