AFS-USA provides a unique and impactful experience to so many people across the world, whether it's the students, host families, teachers, or volunteers. There are countless stories told every year about "meeting a new best friend" or "gaining a family member for life" - this is all because AFS truly makes the world a more loving place, and I'm glad to be a part of it!

We had the opportunity to host two students last year then over the summer went to visit each of them and their families. We have developed such a warm and loving relationship with both of the boys’ families, it truly is like having extended family around the world. It has been a wonderful experience that will endure far beyond the school year they spent in our home.

Months ago we were strangers meeting at the airport , but now we’re a big family❤️. They just didn’t open their home to me, they opened their hearts with all the love and kindness they could give 💕. I love them so much ❤️
