Hacked, lead to poor social skills, need people to know how to use modern technology to be able to teach it, 

Overall the main point is students are being too reliant – teachers able to teach it, not being able to connect, can get spammed/hacked, too reliant on the ipad, can make individuals lazy, wanting the ipad to do everything 

There is other skills that students need to learn that are not to do with modern technology. Leadership, empathy. Social side look after workers. 

They need people who know how to use these systems in the university for it to be successful

Interaction between two or more students on socials networks – encourages participation and makes it easy to update the contents. 

Social network interaction can also help students gel as a group and grow positive relationships. (youtube, Skye etc) 

Sharing powerpoints or podcasts online make learning more dynamic and encourage participation

Four phases ; information collection e.g could be Wikipedia, information processing, structuring and preparing the information associating each style. 

Depending on their learning style students will prefer to use different elements of modern technology. 

Those who like data collection (active style) will use social media 

Those who like analysing information from different points of view (reflective style) do not use social media so much

Conceptualizing these into your own theory (theoretical style) do not use social media
