To de-escalate, made a mistake, is frustrated, etc., will have a behavior support break pass

• Student must ask their teacher

• Student should do this at an appropriate time,

• AT THE TEACHERS DISCRETION

• Student is not to use break pass if he is late to class, a tardy counts as a break

• Student must go to their teacher first to ask if they need a break

7 minute break (from the time they arrive), unless:

• de-escalation that takes longer

• needs to work with Zoppo individually

• needs to report something that takes longer then 7 minutes

• Other extenuating circumstances that arise

Student can have up to 5 breaks through the day  and can only use it once per period.
