The Europeans brought many horrible diseases with them, what were they and what effects did they have on the native Aboriginals?

The European settlers that had migrated from England brought with them many negative things. One of the most major of those were diseases. The most deadly disease that came to contact with the aboriginals was smallpox. Many of the aboriginals "died from smallpox in the first years of colonisation" (http://aiatsis.gov.au/explore/articles/first-encounters-and-frontier-conflict) which happened along the coast of Sydney and wiped out a majority of the population in that area. the people that they killed were Eora people, they were a tribe of aboriginals that were almost completely wiped out because of this disease.
Before smallpox (Variola Virus) was a disease that was highly contagious and had some very noticeable symptoms such as a progressive skin rash that appeared in small lumps and dots across the skin. Thankfully this disease was ridden of in 1977 and no natural outbreaks have occurred since then.

Who were some of the aboriginals trying to make a change to the European settlers arrival
There were some very devastating conflicts that occurred during the settling of Australia. There were also many highly respected aboriginals that lead these resistance groups against the "European Invaders". One of these leaders was Pemulwuy, he was an aboriginal warrior from the Bidjigal clan of the Dharug nation. He lead the resistance movements to the south and west of Sydney Cove. Pemulwuy and his son, Tedbury would lead offences on cattle farms and sheep sheds with the intent to cripple the Europeans livestock. They would burn sheds and many homes in these raids trying to rid the land of these invaders. These efforts were in vein though as the Europeans would always retaliate back against the aboriginals and the many victims of the retaliations were usually the females. During one altercation between the two forces, Pemulwuy was shot twice but managed to survive although he was eventually shot dead in 1802 by two settlers, from there "he was decapitated, and his head was shipped to England. His son, Tedbury, continued the resistance" (http://www.australianstogether.org.au/stories/detail/frontier-violence) but would fail in the end due many loses in battle.

Journal entry:

The date is 2nd of June, 1802. The biggest change in history has just gone down as us, the Europeans, have finally drawn blood against the aboriginal leaders and have crippled them to the point of retreat. my section and i were guarding a maize field that was meant to be raided this day. Then the raid did happen and to our correct knowledge, there he was. Pemulwuy was at the front of his attacking men because his deranged thoughts believed that our amazing technology and firearms could not bring this man down. we showed him wrong as we gunned him down along with the rest of these savages that thought they were better than us. You may ask whats happening now Sydney Cove is safe from these ferals? well if you must know, we will this beings head from his body and have it escorted way back to England so they can study this fine specimen that has appeared to previously have survived 2 heavily wounding gun shots. I must be off now because we are in search of the body and I hear there's a promotion for whoever finds this thing.
