Similarly to my previous post, I am going to state every convention this video uses, and how it does so.

• the "electronica" genre has very open characteristics, especially in music videos. However, the fact that this video is original and provokes the audience, makes it achieve the same intentions as most other "electronica" music videos. This tone is mostly demonstrated through the mise en scene in the video.

Until the song kicks in  at the end, there is no correlation between the video and the song. This music video shows no demonstration of any of the other convention in Goodwin's theory of genre. It shows:

• no references to the notion of looking, or voyeuristic treatment of the female body.
• the relationship between music and visuals is not clearly succinct. Some shots are edited to the tempo and beat of the song, where as others ar not.  
• the relationship between lyrics and visuals and not succinct. This is partly due to a large lack of lyrics. The lines included are fairly ambigous. 
• zero close-ups of the artist, as the artist is not present in the music video at all. This is actually something that gives the music video the genre characteristic convention.
• No inter textual references to film, TV etc. etc.
