Her baby cousin was a victim of neglect before even having his first birthday. His parents believed feeding him twice a day was okay for a newborn. She was raised in North East, PA by her mother and father. Growing up, Taylor was always a good student. She practiced good study habits and never procrastinated. Later on, she found an interest in golf and decided to join her high school’s golf team. An accomplishment she is most proud of is winning states with her team. She acquired her bachelor’s degree in Nursing, but that wasn’t enough for Taylor. She decided to go back to Gannon and acquire a master’s degree to become a nurse anesthetist. She finished as one of the best in her class. She decided she was now done with school, and started applying for jobs. In her late twenties, she met the love of her life, and after a few years, they married. Later on, Taylor welcomed her newborn baby girl into the world. She continued to work until she was ready to retire. UMPC and nursing staff were sad to see her go, as she was one of the best and friendliest people they had ever met. She now resides in Erie, PA with her husband. Her cousin was in rough shape, which led to many hospital visits to get him healthy. Discussions with the doctors were hard to understand for the Urbans because they we unfamiliar with most of the medical terms.
