In both 7th and 8th grade, I have used kahoot, quizlet, socrative, nearpod, and zip grade. I find that it is hard to keep boys engaged in a regular lesson. However, Kahoot and quizlet really help the boys stay engaged in a lesson. With kahoot, quizlet, socrative, nearpod, and zip grade, I can see results in a matter of minutes. These results are crucial in moving forward with a lesson or reteaching a lesson. I use the data that I gather to drive instruction. I also use STAR and ACT ASPIRE Interim and Classroom Tests as a benchmark to see where the class stands. Today, I gave 8th grade their Classroom Test on ACT ASPIRE, and previewed their scores and the questions that they missed. Tomorrow, I am going to go over those five questions and clear up any misconceptions. It is also helpful for the students to see where they stand and what they need to improve on. As for my guided study class, we have been doing Edgenuity. I really like edgenuity because there are some students that need intense remediation, but there are also students that are above grade level in the same class. The program helps students move forward regardless of their grade equivalency. Another key feature that I like on Edgenuity is that it shows students their progress. The program helps make students responsible for their learning and their grade. When a student is behind, they can see that. The program helps keep them on track!

I use technology a lot in my classroom to give my students visual aids and give them opportunities to engage in interactive activiites to enhance learning. Kahoot is one that the students love because they are competitive and they love to even see their names pop up. These technology resources are great aids in re-teaching and allows me to see who gets and who needs extra help. I like the idea that they can do Socrative on the computer or I can print the test out. Zip-grade gives immediate feedback and they love that. The data that I collect from STAR Math allows me the opportunity to see who needs extra help and how to prepare activities to help the students. Edgenuity is a great resource and students are working very hard. I motivate and encourage my students to answer every question and show all work. This will prepare them for ACT ASPIRE. It would be awesome to have a rolling lab or more access to the computer lab to give the students more time working and utilizing technology. The data will assist me in helping my students improve and move forward. I can share the data with the students and it become real to them and I even tell them that it shows if they rushed through it because of the time frame or worked to the best of their ability. My students enjoy using it and they love that it gives them instant results. I am currently using Nearpod, Kahoot, Quizlet, Zipgrade, edgenuity, powerpoint, and the ACT ASPIRE website. I like that each tool provides a different way of learning for the students. The instant data that is given from these tools are very beneficial to guiding the lessons. I use the data to assist in re-teaching and/or retesting. Also, to individualize small group instructions. With the instant data, I am able to stop right at the moment of confusion and make clarifications. All of the tools and technology available, with aid in the preparing the students for the ACT ASPIRE that is quickly approaching.

This tool provides data that I use to write IEP goals and to determine what lessons I will teach my AAA classes. Moby Max also allows students to answer questions in a format that is similar to ACT ASPIRE.
I use Remind to let students know when important things are due or when we have a test.  I don't use this as often as I used to.  
I use Kahoot as a review for tests and to move away from the use of worksheets. The data from Kahoot is used to determine which students need additional practice with the content that I am teaching.
I use Socrative to administer quizzes in my classroom. I use the data from Socrative to determine which objectives I need to reteach and which students need additional help.
I use ZipGrade to provide instant feedback of tests grades. 
I would love to have the time to set up my classes and use Nearpod and Edgenuity.

These resources have been beneficial because the student enjoy using technology and I am able to give quick feedback. They are also beneficial because students can also work at they own pace. Using these technology tools has helped to create more engagement in class and allow for different methods of learning, while at the same time getting the students to become more proficient at using a device for educational purposes. We use Active Classroom to to analyze maps, charts, timelines, and other historical resources. I use my observations from the student's work and examine their answers to pinpoint specific resources or types of questions that need to be focused on in class. We have also begun using this site to complete reading assignments online in preparation for the ACT Aspire. I'm am taking the data from their completed work to pinpoint areas of need for lessons. This technology has been useful in keeping my students interested and engaged in the content.  Zipgrade, Kahoot and Nearpod provides immediate feedback to determine the student's mastery of the content being taught.  I collect data through various resources such as through STAR Reading results, ACT Aspire Interim Result, Informal and formal classroom assessements  and observations. I use this data to determine what skills I need to remediate, reteach, and retest. I also use Edgenuity in tutoring. This program reinforces many of the things I teach in class and is designed to remediate students to help bring them on level. My students are excited about the use of the various technology in the classroom. I have also used the ACT ASPIRE website. The web sites have been very useful because it allows the students to be in control and give feedback as necessary. The students enjoy competing, and allowing them to correct mistakes to advance. I am able to monitor and observe who is getting it and who is not. I use the data to retest or to focus on weak areas for improvement. I use Kahoot for review and quizzes. The feedback giving at the end of the game allows me to see what answers students missed so I can review. I LOVE the immediate feedback! It really makes grading hassle free.
