Hello everyone! My name is Priscilla Smith, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Psychology. One of my personal goals is to strengthen my faith and personal resilience so that I can show up more fully for myself and others, while a professional goal of mine is to work with teens in a clinical setting, using a combination of talk therapy and creative methods such as mindfulness and art to support healing. Through this course, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of crisis and trauma work, especially practical strategies that can be applied in real-world settings with individuals and families. Outside of academics, I have a love for plants and find a lot of peace in nature. I am excited to continue learning and growing in this course.
