While this problem predominantly hurt white communities, it distinguished that drug addiction for whites was different for POC's. Drug addiction is a disease for whites, and Drug addiction is a crime for BIPOC.

The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiments, the Eugenics Movement, and so many other prominent medical studies deliberately harmed POC.
